The world keeps turning my thoughts from you The fire is almost out If love's a warning I'm losing you Then what is love about? You in the hall you by my side Always its you You with our child there in the wild fragments of you And they all think they know But mistress fate she owes me A little taste of what I have been waiting for My Reckless you The wheel keeps spinning the thread unbound to weave this golden shroud I'll take instruction from gods above not this unruly crowd Cos they all think they know But mistress fate she owes me A little taste of what I have been waiting for My Reckless you Your legend reached us so long ago your son is fully grown So why should we just weep, cook and sew in your forgotten home One hundred men Asking me when? What would you do? I've woven this shroud 50 times now And now I'm through And they all think they know But mistress fate she owes me A little taste of what I have been waiting for My Reckless you

about

This is a recording from a live gig at the Bristol Beacon in April 2023

A rare moment bringing together my long term collaborator Naadia Sheriff with the wonderful Keith Warmington and Clare Lindley.

It was a special night and I am so glad that Martin Mitchell was there to hear it and then mix the album for us!

I hope you can download and enjoy every track. xx
